7.3 Operation
7.3.1 The pressure in the connected pneumatic device is regulated by the pressure regulator
as follows
(Figure 3) :

Connect the pneumatic device to the pressure regulator.

Activate the control unit by pulling up the control knob.

Set the desired pressure by turning the control knob with the tap open.
Turning in the "+" direction (clockwise)
increases the pressure, while turning towards "-" (anti-clockwise) reduces
the pressure.

Make sure that the pressure is set in accordance with the pressure
gauge; then press the control knob until it clicks into place, to prevent
inadvertent adjustment.
7.3.2 The compressor is equipped with an overload protection device. The motor protection is
activated automatically when the power is interrupted or when
the duty cycle [ED] is more
than 60%.
Starting up following activation of the protection device: Once the motor has cooled to
an acceptable temperature, set the pressure switch to the "O" or "OFF" position
(Figure
2) and then activate the compressor by turning to the "I" position or, depending on the
model, to "ON" again. If present, press the thermal protection button, which is located
on the terminal box of the electric motor.
DANGER: IF, AFTER EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN, THE CURRENT IN THE POWER
SUPPLY IS RESTORED, IT AUTOMATICALLY SWITCHES THE COMPRESSOR ON
AGAIN!
CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE MOTOR, NEVER
INTERFERE WITH THE COMPRESSOR SYSTEM!
