Charging the battery pack
Insert the rechargeable battery pack into the battery charger. This
type of operation is only permitted under the following conditions:
The specifications on the type label of the rechargeable battery
pack must agree with those of the battery charger.
The rechargeable battery pack must be discharged.
Check the capacity of the rechargeable battery pack (
see page 21
).
The battery reaches max. power after app. five
charge/discharge cycles.
Connect the battery charger to a power outlet. This type of operation
is only permitted if the following conditions are satisfied:
The specifications on the type label must agree with those of the
power supply. .
Do not use adaptors together with other electrical equipment on
circuits provided with earth leakage protection.
CAUTION
Operating the device on an electrical supply
that does not comply with these requirements
may damage the electrical tool.
Connect the electrical tool to a suitable
power supply.
Proceed as follows to charge the rechargeable battery pack:
Check the outlet for the power cable for foreign objects and dirt,
clean if necessary.
Allow a warm battery pack (7) to cool down before charging.
Activate the safety lock (5).
Press both release buttons (8).
This unlocks the rechargeable battery pack.
Remove the rechargeable battery pack (7) to the front.
