Repairing faults
WARNING
Operating damaged or faulty electrical tools
may cause severe or lethal injury.
Immediat. remove the power supply to the
electrical appliance when a fault occurs.
Empty the magazine
Put the electrical tool to use only when the
fault has been repaired.
CAUTION
Repairs by unauthorized persons may damage
the electrical tools.
The electrical tool must only be repaired by
the manufacturer.
The summary lists a set of possible faults along with the actions.
Symptom Possible reason Solution
Ventilation slots
blocked. Remove foreign objects
and dirt. Electrical TOOL
overheats.
Constant load at low
RPM. Allow the electrical
appliance to cool down at
high RPM in neutral pos.
Depth stop adjusted
incorrectly. Adjust the depth stop
(see page 22 and ff.). Screws not fastened
completely.
The bit is worn. Replace bit (see p. 26).
