Fastening screws
Proceed as follows to fasten a screw:
Use the direction of rotation switch (11) to select right-hand
rotation.
Press ON/OFF switch (4) (see page 32).
CAUTION
Attaching the depth stop before switching on
the auto feed screwdriver can damage the
feeding device.
Always switch on the auto feed screwdriver
before attaching the depth stop.
Place depth stop (16) of the auto feed screwdriver on the work
piece.
CAUTION
Placing the unit at an angle can damage the
head of the screw and increase bit wear.
Always place the auto feed screwdriver at
right angles on to the surface being
fastened.
Push the auto feed screwdriver down steadily and quickly.
The screw is fastened.
The clutch of the auto feed screwdriver automatically releases the bit
when the required depth is reached.
Lift the auto feed screwdriver from the work piece.
The next screw is automatically moved to the fastening position.
Adjust the fastening depth if necessary (see page 35).
