Power cord connections

1.

Plug the power cord into the power cord socket on the
printer. Make sure the power cord is securely seated in
the socket.

2.

Plug the free end of the power cord into a suitable AC
power source (such as a wall socket or power strip).

Caution

Power to the printer is completely cut off only when the cord is
unplugged.  Place the printer where you can easily unplug it
from the power source.  Also, pull the plug and not the cord
when unplugging the printer.
