Removing the carriage packing material
There are three (3) items to be removed from the inside of the printer.
1.Remove the cardboard carriage packing material that is to the left of the car-
riage.
2.Press down on the blue paper release lever found to the right of the carriage.
Remove the tape from the metal fr ame that holds the small white f oam car-
riage packing material in place and remove the foam piece.
3.Remove the tape located on the left side of the carriage by gently grasping the
tape and pulling slightly toward the left and forward at the same time. You need
to remove the tape in one piece.
