The temperature controlled function is controlled by the
product temperature until the target product temperature has
been reached. If this takes longer than defined in durations of
the phases, the equipment will alarm automatically. (Fig. 17.)
During phases 1 – 3 the internal cabinet temperature must
always be colder than the target product temperature.
Otherwise, the product will not freeze. Typically, the difference
required is at least 7 °C. The bigger the difference, the quicker
the chilling and, accordingly, the bigger the risk that the
product surface will freeze.
The setting of the conservation function takes place in the last
phase.
Conservation Enable = Enable, in use

The conservation cycle has to be programmed for each
personalised program separately. (Fig. 18.)
11 Menu
In ‘Menu’ you will find functions necessary for the equipment
control (Fig. 19).
The Probe Heating (available as an accessory) is intended to be
used following temperature controlled blast freezing, to be able
to remove the temperature probe from the product.
Continuous action is a 24h forced drive function if you want
to use the equipment with the biggest possible power. In this
function there is no temperature control.
Manual defrost is necessary if the evaporator has frozen and
the normal automatic defrost does not remove the ice at the
end of the process.
Fish freezing process is started by selecting the relevant button
and the process has been programmed to take place according
to regulations.
The service control panel includes, in addition to the service
functions, calendar settings and transfer functions of log files
(Fig. 19).
