7.4 OPERATING STATES – BASIC FIGURE
AUTO
- the boiler works in the automatic mode as per values of parametres stored in the
working register of the control unit (in menu 1-7).
“AUTO”
- (blinking) the boiler works in the automatic mode as per values of parametres
adjusted in the memory of the control unit.
AUTO 1 (2-5)
- the boiler works in the automatic modulated mode as per values of parametres
stored in the memories of the control unit (menu 8 – P1 to P5).
HEATER
- the boiler works in the automatic mode of priority heating of hot service water as
per values of parametres stored in the memory of the control unit (menu 8 – P6).
MANUAL
- the boiler works in the manual mode – fan, feeder 1, feeder 2 and pump can be
controlled by depressing the relevant keys on the keyboard.
FALL
- a quiet mode of the boiler when the boiler is not burning actively because the
temperature of the output water has reached the value determined in the menu
number 2 – Temperature or the temperature in the reference room of the heated
building has exceeded the temperature selected on the indoor thermostat.
“AUTO!”
- (blinking) signalizes the proceeded process of fuel started burning in the operating
mode of the boiler without an electrical ignition on conditions FALL.
STOP TEMP
- report on exceeding of emergency temperature, the red indicating lamp ALARM
lights (fault message, another proceed in according to par. 8.1).
STOP STATE
- the operation of the boiler is stopped by reason that the temperature rise hasn´t
been reached (fault message, another proceed in according to par. 8.2).
BLOCKED FEEDER 1
– report on blocked feeder 1 (fault message, another proceed in according to
par. 8.3).
BLOCKED FEEDER 2
- report on blocked feeder 2 (fault message, another proceed in according to
par. 8.3).
8 FAILURE STATES
8.1 STOP STATE - DUE TO OVERHEATING
The control unit is equipped with an emergency circuit, should the boiler get overheated (i.e. if the
boiler is not switched off to FALL when the heating water temperature reached the limit selected in MENU
2).
The failure state OVERHEATING happens when the water temperature on the output from the boiler exceeds
95°C. The emergency circuit of the control unit gets activated in this situation and the boiler is put out of
operation.
The condition is indicated by the red indicating lamp ALARM - position 5 on the control panel and by the
following script on the display unit:
STOP TEMP > 95°C
Only the circulation pump is left in operation in order to conduct away the heat.
Overheating of the boiler cannot happen under normal circumstances, therefore, this state is
assessed as an emergency state and requires intervention of the operator (service engineer) who has to
assess why this situation happened.
