Danger of injury through protruding tines
in the transport position.
Pedestrians, cyclists and others could
be seriously injured by the machine tines
through careless driving.
Cover the tines by using the protection
sleeves.

When refitting the tines, observe their
rotation direction and that of the spring
linchpin. The spring pin must close in the
rotation direction.
2. Fold hoop guard down (for TOP 842 C):
a. Bring the rotor arms to widest position (4) by setting
the control unit (2) to "Raise" until the position "max"
(4) is reached.

Reducing the transport height
Note:
When the TOP 962 C is in the transport
position, 4 tine arms must always be
removed in order to conform with the
statutory transport height.
The tine arms must be removed from the
TOP 842 C to achieve a transport height
of 3.60 m.
1. In working position:
a. Remove the four highest tine arms (1) (see illustration)
from each side. The tine arms are each secured with
a spring linchpin. Store the removed tine arms in the
holder provided at the rear of the machine. (see Section:
Operation of the tine arm support)
b. Cover all remaining tine arms on the machine using a
protective sleeve. ( see chapter "Protective sleeves for
tine arms")
