PUTTING INTO OPERATION

Adjustment:
-
Adjust tractor
hydraulics in a way
that the machine can
adapt to uneven
ground.
-
Bolt (B) in the centre
of the guide.
That means the lowest
position
(48 cm)
of hydraulics
must be limited.
-
Frame horizontal.
-
Fix hydraulic lower links in a
way that the machine cannot swing out sideways.
Adjust the ground bearing load of both external
cutter bars
The ground bearing load is regulated
hydraulically.

Close the hydraulic valve (b)
-
Pressure in the gas accumulator should
be
55 bar
(pressure indication on both
manometers)
1. Bring cutter bar into the working position (pos. H)
2. Raise both the external cutter bars completely (pos. H1)
This allows the pressure required for cutter bar relieving to increase in the
gas accumulator .
3. Lower both the external cutter bars completely (pos. H)
Pressure indicated on both manometers should now be
55 bar
Adjustment possibilities:

Increase pressure
= less cutter ground bearing load

Decrease pressure
= more cutter bar ground bearing
load
