Cutter bar oil level check

Under normal operating conditions, oil is to be replenished annually.

1. Lift one side of the mower bar (42 cm) and support.

The side where the oil refill screw is located remains on the
ground.

Lift the other side of the mower bar about

42 cm

 and support

with a suitable prop.

2. Let mower bar stand in this position for some 15

minutes.

This time is necessary to allow the oil to gather in the lower area
of the mower bar.

3. Remove oil refill screw (63).

The oil level is measured at the oil refill screw hole.

4. Check the

"16 mm"

oil level using a wooden stick and

top-up if necessary.

Too much oil leads to the mower bar overheating during
operation.

Too little oil does not guarantee the necessary lubrication.

Cutter bar oil change

-

First oil change after the first 50 operating hours.

-

An oil change should then be carried out after every

900 ha

.

Amount of oil:

 3,3 litres SAE 90

-

Lift the right side of the mower bar so that the oil gathers in the drain
plug area.

-

Remove drain plug (62), drain old oil and dispose of properly.

Opening the protectors

Open the locking bar "R" with a suitable aid (e.g. screw driver) and
simultaneously swing the protector up.

Closing the protectors

Swing the protector down, the locking bar engages automatically
and locks the protector against unintentional opening.
