4.1 Function MDB-2F/2X
Functions of the MDB-2F filter unit:
A Manual start/stop ventilator with delayed off
B Optional remote start/stop ventilator with delayed off
C Automated on line filter cleaning
D Automated off line filter cleaning
E Manual on and off line filter cleaning
F Alarm signal (optical and acoustical) for:
- Tripped overload relay
- Absence of compressed air (only during cleaning cycle)
- Clogged filter
G Reset Alarm
4.2 Operation
start/stop FAN
The ventilator is started and stopped with the Start/Stop FAN
push button or with the remote Start/Stop. The Start/Stop
FAN push button has a delayed off of 1 second. The remote
Start/Stop has a delayed off of 2 minutes.
reset Alarm
The reset alarm push button can be used to reset the alarm
after the filter cleaning system has failed to clean the filters
after 1 hour. In this case the filters must be replaced
immediately, otherwise the alarm will sound again after one
hour.
Manual on and off line filter cleaning
The Reset Alarm push button can also be used to start a
manual cleaning cycle (2 pulses per valve).
• To start a cycle, keep the Reset Alarm push button
pressed for minimum 5 seconds.
4.3 Function MDB-4F
Functions of the MDB-4F filter unit:
A Manual start/stop ventilator with delayed off
B Optional remote start/stop ventilator with delayed off
C Adjustable ventilator speed with potentiometer on the
frequency converter or in case of 600V with
potentiometer connected to frequency converter.
D Automated on line filter cleaning
E Automated off line filter cleaning
F Manual on- and offline filter cleaning
G Alarm signal (optical and acoustical) for:
- Error frequency converter
- Absence of compressed air (only during cleaning cycle)
- Clogged filter
H Reset Alarm
4.4 Operation
start/stop FAN

Ventilator speed adjustment
The speed of the ventilator can be adjusted with the
potentiometer on the frequency converter in the control
panel. The adjustment range is from 20 – 50 Hz.
