Installation of the MDB-2F/2X
4.1 tools and requirements
No special tools required.
4.2 unpacking
The package should contain:
- Filter unit MDB-2F/MDB-2X
- Precoat material (in the dust bin)
- Handle for dust bin lifting device
If parts are missing or damaged, contact your supplier.
4.3 installation measurement
See illustration below.
4.4 Electric connection
Connect the MDB-2F/MDB-2X in accordance with electric
diagram 0517001110 1 of 2 and 0517001110 2 of 2.

All electrical wiring which includes primary,
secondary and control wiring must be done by
certified/licensed electrician.

Disconnect mains before servicing. Failure to do so

Do not attempt installation of this unit unless you
are familiar with the necessary tools, equipment,
utility connections and potential hazards.
Installation should be performed only by a
qualified service provider. Failure to do so could
result in reduced performance of the unit, serious
personal injury or death.
A line supply
See diagram 0517001110.
B Transformer wiring
Check that rated voltage corresponds with supply voltage to
avoid damage to electrical components. Set the transformer
on the primary voltage connection to the correct voltage
position. Fig.1 and 2.
C Motor wiring
The motor wiring has to be reconfigured according to the
corresponding voltage diagram on the motor nameplate or
inside the connection box cover.
D changing and adjusting the thermal overload
The thermal overload needs to be exchanged for a version
suited for a higher current at 240V, an extra thermal
overload for 240V/60Hz/3-ph supply is delivered as standard
and can be found in the ”Power control box”.
The thermal overload current must be adjusted according to
the nominal current on the motor name plate. To compensate
for line supply fluctuations, set the dial on the thermal
overload 10-20% higher than the nominal motor current.
4.6 control circuit
Remote Start/Stop or External switch.
See diagram 0517001110 is wired to terminal block X1 on
positions 7 and 8.

4.5 Power Circuit
The MDB-2F default supply voltage is 400V/50Hz/3-ph or
480V/60Hz/3-ph. If only a supply voltage of 240V/60Hz/3-ph
is available, please follow steps B to D.
