ClamAV

is one of the most commonly-used Open
Source anti-virus and anti-malware freeware products in the world.
ClamAV
is able to
identify more than 40,000 embedded threats, including viruses, Trojans, spyware, and
other forms of malware. The
ClamAV
signature database can be updated at any time. A
virus expert team stationing around the world updates the
ClamAV
signature database
multiple times a day. Any one who finds a virus suspect is encouraged to contact the
expert team to update the signature database instantly. Within a very short time, the mail
server using
ClamAV
freeware on the Internet will be protected immediately and
consequently.

automatically update both the program and the virus codes three times per day at 00:00,
08:00, and 16:00. You can manually update the
Clam AntiVirus
program immediately
by clicking
Live Update
button.
If any virus is found, you can choose to
Delete
the infected emails,
forward to
a
selected user account for further examination or
only
mark [Virus] in Subject
for
warning. As the system supports the virus mail function, the Server will save the log
records of infected emails no matter you choose to delete or save it to another user
account. Click
View
button at
Log
to list infected emails.
To filter specified extension names, select or enter the
extensions
and click
OK
to
detect virus.
To filter mails with attachments, check the
Filter mail with attachment
box, and click
OK
to detect virus.
