Bandwidth Management
Select

>
Bandwidth Management
to
configure different bandwidth on the type of service to achieve the best bandwidth
performance.
Before you are able to use the
Bandwidth Management
function, enter the appropriate
bandwidth rate in
Download Bandwidth
and
Upload Bandwidth
fields. For example, if
the ADSL bandwidth rates you have applied are 2M/256 Kbps, enter 2048 Kbps in the
Download Bandwidth
field, and 256 Kbps in the
Upload Bandwidth
field. Click
On
or
Off
button to enable or disable the function. Click
Auto Settings
button
on the bottom of the screen, and the Server will allocate bandwidth for
each service. If you enter
Download Bandwidth
and
Upload Bandwidth
in
accordance with the Internet transmission rate, the Server will allocate the rest of the
bandwidth among the services. You can also manually allocate the bandwidth to meet
your network demand.
Enter a number in the service field that you want to change the
transmission rate, and click
Manual Settings
. Note that if you enter
inaccurate transmission rates, it might affect the system performance of the Server.
Please consult your local ISP to obtain the correct
download and upload rates of your
Internet link for you to enter the bandwidth properly.
