Warning
It takes about 5 to 10 minutes to perform the
live
update
, depending on the speed of your network.
Please backup your data before performing the live
update.
While the live update is being executed, you
must not
exit the web browser or perform other server functions.
The live update process includes
downloading updated file & MD5 checksum
,
extracting
and
updating
.
After the live update process is completed, the screen displays a notification message
that the newest software version has been updated, and the system will be rebooted.
Backup Settings
Check the backup policy to allow the Server to make backups, and click
OK
to proceed.
The backup settings provide several backup options. The administrator can select
multiple backup options. If the
backup mails
option is enabled, the mails will be
duplicated. Enabling the other backup options will replace the current data stored in the
Server.
It is recommended that you backup all mails using the
BCC
field. If you need to assign a
specific person to manage the backup files, it is suggested that you auto-forward all
mails to a specified mail account. It is recommended that you perform backups on a
regular basis. The Server will name the backup file according to the system date. You
can export the backup file on a separate PC or hardware device after the backup is
completed.
Attention
The options of backup settings do not include backing up
the data on the FTP server. You have to manually backup
FTP server if it is necessary.
Export Backup
:
To perform a manual backup, click the
Export
button and select a destination to save
and download the backup file to the client’s PC.
The
Export Backup
function enables
you to save the exported file to the computer you are using. The system will generate the
exported files according to the system date on the computer.
