7 CEPHALOSTAT ADJUSTMENT
NOTE Switch the unit off after all the checks and adjustments have been performed, before
taking any patient exposures.
7.1 Preparations before adjustments
Press and hold the P key until you have heard two audible signals. The latest used exposure
mode number starts to flash on the main display.
Select the image area 4 with the program selection keys. The text CPH4 will appear on the
main display. The rotating unit will move automatically to the correct position for taking cepha-
lometric exposures.
Remove the inner cover from tubehead assembly. Four screws hold the tubehead cover in
position, these are located at the rear of the tubehead assembly.

Rotate the cephalostat head support to the lateral ceph position. Remove the ear posts.
