10.6 MAC Clone
Some ISP will request for a fixed MAC address (network card physical address) for distributing IP address,
which is mostly suitable for cable mode users. Users can input the network card physical address (MAC
address: 00-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx) here. The device will adopt this MAC address when requesting IP address from
ISP.
Select the WAN port to which the configuration is to be edited; click the hyperlink to enter and edit its
configuration. Users can input the MAC address manually. Press “Apply” to save the setting, and press
“Cancel” to remove the setting. Default MAC address is the WAN MAC address.
