Chapter 3

To install multiple boards

To install multiple boards, repeat the process described
in “Installing the Board in a Sun PCI Workstation” on
page 86.

• You can install as many Md4/PCI boards as your sys-

tem’s power supply and available PCI slots can support.

• Each board requires less than 3 amps of +5V.

Tips

Remember these tips when you are installing multiple
boards:

You can install different DOME boards in the same
system. For example, you can install one Md2/PCI
and one Md4/PCI board in your Sun PCI system.
