8.2 UPDATING OF THE FIRMWARE

Filename: rmx****.upd
The following 4 types of firmware are included in the updater file:
• MAI
N
UCOM (SH UCOM)
• SUB UCOM (K0R UCOM)
• DSP (program)
• DSP (data)

Copy the updater file into the root directory of the SD card.
Note:
SHXC cards are not supported.

Turn the unit O
N
by holding the TAP and HOLD buttons pressed.
(Hold the two buttons pressed until the 7-segment indicator lights.)

Load the SD card.
(As soon as the SD card is loaded and Firmware Update mode is entered, updating will start.)

Updating will proceed.
The progress of updating is indicated on the OUTPUT level indicator, as shown below.

After updating is completed, the results of updating are indicated with the 7-segment and OUTPUT level indicators,
as shown below. Turn the unit off then back on again.
