The back of the unit consists of the

to protect internal
hardware, and the

within the middle rear panel.

D. Middle Rear Panel Connection Board Configuration
The connection board on the middle rear panel allows access to
connectors, connections and switches used to install and operate
the DRM-5004X.

, Connection Board. Here are descriptions of items on
the connection board.
1. SCSI Interface Connectors
- These are amphenol 50 Pin SCSI
connectors. In a basic drive configuration, the built-in changer
controller and two CD-ROM Readers are connected by a daisy-
chain between connectors A and B, with a terminator block
installed on connector B. Connectors C, D, E and F can be
used for custom configurations.
2. SCSI ID Switch
- These DIP switches are used to set SCSI
IDs of the changer mechanism and the installed CD-ROM drives.
3. Audio Output Terminal
- These output the digital audio signal
from standard CD-ROM and CD-DA discs.
4. Voltage Selector Switch
- When this unit is used in the United
States and Canada and other places where a 100V - 120V sys-
tem is used, set the switch to 120V. When it is used in Europe
or other places where a 220V - 240V system is used, set the
switch to 230V. See

5. GND Terminal
- Use this terminal to ground the unit.
6. Power Connection
- Connect the power cord here. A converter
plug is included as an accessory. Use this to match the shape
of the power outlet.
