Ministep
When used in the „ministep mode“, the power stage CLD
+
increases the step resolution by
a factor 2.5, 4, 5, 8, 10, 16, 20, 32, 64, 128, 256 or 512.
Various advantages are obtained by the ministep mode:
•
The torque undulation drops when the number of ministeps is increased.
•
Resonance and overshoot phenomenae are greatly reduced; the motor operation is
almost resonance-free.
•
The motor noise also drops when the number of ministeps is increased.
