NOTICE
Loss of system settings when internal components are adjusted!
When the system settings are changed, the original settings will be lost. Unfavorable settings
can lead to oscillation of the positioner, deteriorated settling behavior and reduced positioning
accuracy.
Change the internal system settings of the E-625 only if it is necessary.
Contact our customer service department (p. 63) if you are not sure whether a change to
the system settings is necessary.
If necessary, you can adjust the following settings in the inside of the E-625 housing.
Notch filter and P-I controller for optimal settling behavior (p. 43)
Sensor settings for the highest positioning accuracy after the replacement of the
positioner or the controller (p. 47)
Master/slave setting for the sensor synchronization (p. 41)
8.2
Opening the Housing
Only the
Settings
DIP switch block and the
Zero
potentiometer can be accessed from the
outside. All other E-625 adjustment elements are located inside the housing.
Requirements
You have read and understood the General Notes on the Adjustment of Settings (p. 35).
The E-625 is switched off, i.e. the wide-range-input power supply is
not
connected to
the power socket using the power cord.
Tools and Accessories
Phillips-head screwdriver, size PH1
Opening the Housing
1.
Remove the two upper cross-head screws on the front and rear panel.
2.
Lift off the top of the housing.
