12. A large number of data packets contain errors relating to
the stop bit. Check whether the following device settings
are correct and correspond to the data to be transmitted:
–
Parity
–
Data bits (7 or 8 bits)
–
Stop bits
–
Data rate
13. Software buffer overflow. The data is being received via
the SHDSL interface faster than it can be output to the se-
rial interface. If your system operates with various differ-
ent serial parameters: make sure the parameters of all
serial interfaces are the same. This applies in particular to
the data rate.
If all the serial parameters in your system are identical, de-
crease the serial data rate of all serial interfaces or reduce
the data load.
If RS-232 or RS-422 interfaces are used in a line struc-
ture, make sure that they are only operating in half duplex
mode.
DSL ports
Line name
This is the name of the line that you assigned during configu-
ration.
Link status
The link status indicates the status of the SHDSL connection.
Link losses
The number of connection losses since the last boot.
Data rate
The speed of the SHDSL connection. The lower the data rate,
the greater the distance of the DSL line.
Link quality
Quality of the DSL connection at port A or B.
Network load (RX/TX)
Network load for outgoing (TX) and incoming (RX) data traffic.
Error diagnostics
Indicates how strongly SHDSL data traffic is disturbed.
