The following Copier properties only appear when the
Show Advanced Properties
from the Actions
Pane is toggled on.
Property
Description
Active Pin Levels
This property determines whether each of the four copy lines (D0 to D3) are
active high (1) or low (0). It must contain the decimal equivalent of the bitfield
containing the status of each bit. For example, if all lines are active low (0000),
set this value to 0; if only line D1 is active high (0010), set this value to 2; if all
lines are active high (1111), set this value to 15.
Double Pulse Time
This is the interval, taken from completion of the Pulse Width period, within
which the start of a pulse is taken as a part of double pulse, and after which the
start of a pulse is taken as a separate copy. The Double Pulse Time should be set
longer than the inter-pulse gap for double pulses produced by the copier, and
shorter than the quickest time for two copies in a row.
Delay Before
Disable
Certain copiers stop all printing processes as soon as they are disabled, which
can result in paper jams. This timeout specifies the minimum amount of time
that must elapse after the last copy pulse before the copier can be disabled,
ensuring that the last copy job has finished printing before the copier is
disabled.
Get Costings Per
User
If “No” is selected for this property, prices for copy lines are loaded from the
Pharos EDI on startup, or after a change control. Selecting “Yes” means that
prices are loaded every time a user starts a copying session, allowing for
discount costing on a per user basis.
Last Copy Time
When a user ends their copy session, the Omega CopyLink waits for the amount
of time specified here before charging the user, to ensure that the last copy job
is counted. Specify this period as a number of seconds between 1 and 255.
This period starts after the end of the Delay Before Disable timeout (if one is
configured).
Pulse Width
This is the minimum period for which the copy count line can be relied to stay
down when a copy is made (this must also be greater than the length of any line
noise or transient response at the end of a copy pulse). The other copy lines are
