Configuring IP address
To configure the IP address of the PS200:
In the Omega Web Administrator, select
Network > LAN Address
from the menu on the left.
If you want the IP address to be assigned via DHCP, tick the “
Use DHCP
” box . No further
network configuration is necessary.
If you want the PS200 to use a static IP address, untick the “
Use DHCP
” box. Unticking the DHCP
box shows all the networking details of the PS200 including the broadcast address, subnet mask,
gateway address, name server address, domain search suffix, and hostname.
Click the
Save
button to save the configuration details.
Configuring the PS200 hostname
In the Omega Web Administrator, select
Network > LAN Address
from the menu on the left.
To configure the PS200 hostname:
1.
Untick the Use DHCP box. This shows all the network configuration details for your PS200.
2.
In the Host name field, type a new host name.
3.
Click the Save button to save the configuration details. This hostname must correspond to the
terminal name that you have configured in your Pharos server (Blueprint or Uniprint).
Configuring the PEDI settings
In the Omega Web Administrator, select
Station > Pharos Server
from the menu on the left. This opens
the Pharos Server Settings screen.
To configure the PEDI settings:
1.
Tick the Advance Settings button if it is not already ticked. This opens the Advanced Pharos
server settings field.
2.
In the Server Name field, enter the name of your EDI Server. This is the name of the machine
where you installed the Pharos EDI Service.
3.
In the Site Password field, enter the EDI site password.
4.
Tick the Advance Settings box.
5.
In the Path field, enter the URL for the Pharos Server file. For Uniprint 8.1 and Blueprint 4.1 the
path is
PharosEDI/EdiService.asmx
. Refer to the
section for more information on
the PEDI URL setting.
