Appendix B: Main Menu and Submenus
This list contains the options in the Main Menu and its submenus.
Additional information is given for some of the options.
Note:
Selecting Exit Menu always takes the brailler completely
out of the Main Menu and into Braille Entry mode. You can also
press the Menu Button from most locations in the menus to return
to Braille Entry mode.
Main Menu
File
New File—Clears the active memory and puts the brailler in
Braille Entry mode
Internal Files—All internal file information is for the current
user only
Open File—Opens and reads a saved text file and
stores it in active memory.
Save File—Saves the current text in internal memory.
This can also be used to add text to an existing
file.
Save New—Saves the current text in a file with the
same name as the current file (or up to 24
characters of that name), but with (#) after it. #
starts at 1 and increases by 1 for each subsequent
Save New.
Read File
Delete File
Delete all Files—Deletes all files for the current user
Print File—Requires USB connection to printer
Copy File to USB—only displays if a USB drive is
plugged into the unit
Copy All Files to USB—Only displays if a USB drive is
plugged into the unit
