This is a reference manual, which assumes that you are familiar with using the imaging
system. Work through the on-screen tutorials, which you can access by choosing
Learning
from the Help menu on the main SpectrumIMAGE window.
Requirements for using the Imaging System
We assume that the imaging system has been properly set up and aligned. This installation
must be performed by a PerkinElmer Service Engineer.
Connecting the PC to the Local Area Network
The PC provided is connected point-to-point to the imager. If you wish to connect the PC to
your local area network to enable transfer of data, we recommend that you contact your
local PerkinElmer Service Engineer.
