16 . Peltier Temperature Programmer User’s Guide
Location and Ventilation
To allow for adequate cooling the system should not be sited near to room heating
equipment, for example, central heating radiators.
CAUTION
Do not obstruct the cooling vents on the top panel of the PTP.
WARNING
To prevent accidental spillages and damage to the PTP, do not stand cups of
liquid on top of the instrument.
If any liquid does enter the main body of the PTP, switch off the accessory
immediately and make it inoperative. Contact your local PerkinElmer Service
Engineer.
WARNING
Make sure that the electricity supply inlets on the instrument are not
obstructed i.e. leave a gap to allow easy disconnection from the electricity
supply.
