a. If you have the installation CD, insert into the drive.
b. If you do not have the installation CD, the required files may
already be on your system and do not need to be reinstalled.
Choose “Skip File” instead. Do this step (choosing “Skip
File”) three times, once for each of the three RASDD files
being installed if you do not have your CD.
c. If you have tried steps “a” and “b” and you find that the driver
is not on your system, contact Technical Support.
1. If you chose “Print Test Page” while following the on-screen
instructions, the PocketJet is connected to your computer, you have
inserted paper into the printer, and it is turned on, the printer
should now be printing.
Windows 2000/Windows XP
• CD Install
Check the Pentax website ( www.pentaxtech.com ) for the most current
driver software.
1. Insert the Driver Disk CD into the CD drive.
2. Select
“Installation.”
3. Select “PocketJet 200” or PocketJet II,” then select “continue.”
4. Fill in the requested registration information and then click
“continue,” or click “skip” to proceed.
5. Select “PocketJet 200” or “PocketJet II,” select Windows
2000/XP,” and click “continue.” This will launch our AutoInstall
program, which will then launch the Microsoft Add Printer Wizard.
6. If asked to choose a local or network printer, choose “local.” Turn
OFF (no check) “Automatically detect ‘Plug and Play’ printer”.
7. Click “Next.”
8. Select the desired port and click “Next.”
9. The display should read “Pentax PocketJet 200” or Pentax
PocketJet II.” Click “Next.”
10. Follow the on-screen instructions. When you reach the final setup
screen, click “Finish.”
11. 13. If you see a warning message, “Digital Signature Not Found,”
click “Yes” to continue the installation.
Complete any additional warranty information requested, and then
submit it using your preferred method.
• Manual Install
1. Insert the Driver Disk CD into the CD drive.
2. Choose
“Start:Settings:Printers.”
3. Double click “Add Printer.”
4. Click
“Next.”
