Application / UPnP
Universal plug and play (UPnP), NAT, and firewall traversal allow traffic to pass through the
router for applications using the UPnP protocol. This feature requires one active WAN
connection. In addition, the computer should support this feature. In the presence of multiple
WAN connections, select a connection on which the incoming traffic is present, for example,
the default WAN connection.
Enable UPnP
– Select to enable UPnP.
WAN Connection
– Select WAN connection that will use UPnP.
LAN Connection
– Select LAN connection that will use UPnP.
Application / SNTP
Simple network timing protocol (SNTP) is a protocol used to synchronize the system time to
the public SNTP servers. It uses the UDP protocol on port 123 to communicate between
clients and servers.
