SERVICING
BATTERY CHARGE
The tool stops operating when the battery is flat.
- Install the charger in a room at a temperature between 15 °C and 25 °C (59 °F and 77 °F) and protected
from humidity.

Check that ON/OFF switch 11 is set to OFF position “0”.
- Connect the charger cord plug 19 to the corresponding receptacle 13 of the battery pack.

Check that the local power ratings match the charger power specifications and connect the charger built-
in plus 18 to an AC wall outlet.
- When the charger red indicator light comes on, the battery is being charged.
- Charge the battery for 10 to 12 hours. At the end of charging, the charger light either blinks or turns off.
Unplug first the built-in plug 18 and then plug 19.
CHARGER
The charger does not require any maintenance. It must be stored in a well ventilated area, away from heat,
dust and humidity. If the red indicator light does not come ON:
- Unplug the charger built-in plug 18.
- Check the mains.
- Plug again. If the charger does not operate still, contact your authorized dealer.
NEVER ATTEMPT TO OPEN ANY COMPONENTS EXCEPT FOR THOSE DESCRIBED IN THIS
INSTRUCTION MANUAL
(you may damage them, and in particular, you will loose the benefit of the warranty).
REMARKS
- The reel holder should not be unplugged from the battery pack during the battery charge.
- It is prohibited to use a charger other than the charger supplied. The non-observance of this instruction
would damage the battery and increase the risks of accidents and personal injuries.

The use of the charger for a purpose other than that specified by Pellenc S.A. shall not engage Pellenc
S.A. responsibility.
- The NiMH battery requires 4 to 5 full charge and use cycles before reaching its full capacity.
