Preparation of Mower (cont.)

Suspension Lockout

Follow the instructions in this step to perform a suspension lockout before the installation of your grass collection unit.

Note: The following instructions have been adapted from Spartan Mower’s Installation Instructions: 418-0270-00
Please contact Spartan Mower’s for the Hardware used in these Instructions.

Hardware Used:

Steps

1) 

Lift rear of mower and install jack stands 

(Recommended to chock front wheels for safety). See 
Figure A.

2) 

Install (1) 1/2” Serrated Nut backwards on all 1/2” 

Bolts and run it down close to the bolt heads. See Figure 
B.
