Standalone Installation
The OpScan i NSIGHT 70 scanner in a standalone configuration requires a
computer, a monitor, a keyboard, a mouse, and a table (for the monitor, keyboard,
and mouse). An optional printer may also be installed.

Host Computer
This section discusses installation and internal cabling for the host computer in a
standalone configuration.
Installation
Do the following.
1.
Remove the computer’s cover.
Caution: Use ESD precautions (including a grounded wrist strap) for step 2.
2.
Make sure that the scanner interface cards and all ribbon cables are fully
seated.
3.
Replace the cover on the computer.
4.
Open the rear panel doors and place the computer on the shelf. The front of the
computer must face the front of the scanner.
