Troubleshooting and Help Pages
On most Diagnostic Menu and Setup Menu pages there will be a “?” located in the lower right-hand
corner of the screen. Selecting this button will redirect the user to a page with contextual help for the
parameters on the previous page and their function in the MTSE. Shown below is an example.
The Sensor Data Page (discussed in Section 5.3.1) and the System Overview Page (discussed in
Section 5.3.2) can be useful for basic troubleshooting of proper installation and configuration,
respectively. Navigate to these menus from the Main Screen by pressing the
Diagnostics
button.
The firmware for the MTSE resides on the uSD card located just below the display and must not be
removed for proper operation. If the screen is black at start up and states “Drive Not Mounted” the uSD
is missing or not completely pressed into the drive. If this occurs, switch the MTSE off, press the uSD
card into the drive until it clicks, and then switch the unit on. Additionally, if the uSD card is removed or
not completely pressed into the drive while the MTSE is in operation, the flow values will disappear on
the Main Screen. If this occurs, switch the MTSE off, press the uSD card into the drive until it clicks,
and then switch the unit on.
