PPP layer configuration
5. At this time, both the 3224/6081RC and 3201 should be negotiating a PPP/IPCP link. To view the status
of the 3201 PPP link, refresh the
Edit PPP
page and look at the
Connect State
field.
6. Click on the Edit IP interface link to verify the 3201 has obtained a WAN IP address from the
3224/6081RC. Leave all options in their default state.

RIP configuration
To configure RIP version, do the following:
1. Click on the Edit RIP Versions link.
2. Select True for Version 2 (V2) Accept and Send options.
3. Click on the
Create
button to make the changes effective.
