mDSL DACS Administrators’ Reference Guide
9 • mDSL Port Configuration
Introduction
The mDSL subsystem in the
Configuration Menu
contains web pages showing the status of all mDSL ports.
They summarize information about the mDSL modem links between the 3095 and the CPE mDSL modems,
also providing the ability to configure certain of the mDSL parameters. The information may be display-only
fields or user-entry fields.
Note
The Model 3095 is available with 8 or 16 mDSL ports. References in
this manual to the 16-port version apply to the 8-port version as well.
The summary information above the table shows how many mDSL modems are in the different states. The
states are number of mDSL modems available, failed, activated, connected, and in a test mode.
The table shows the characteristics for each of the 16 internal mDSL modems with the option of choosing the
Circuit ID
, the
Desired State
, and the
Test Mode Selection
.
Clicking on the
Port
number, you can examine other statistics and configure additional parameters. This
includes the
Port Runtime Statistical Information
, the
Port Configuration Information
, the
Port Alarm Statistics
,
and the
Port Error Statistics
. Going to the
History
page, you will see the cumulative statistics for each of the 15-
minutes intervals.
