Introduction
Introduction
The T1/E1 Link subsystem initially displays the T1/E1 Link Activity Overview window (see figure 50). This
window provides a quick summary of all 16 WAN ports. The summary gives information on the “Circuit ID,”
“Line Type,” and “Line Status.” By entering any of the WAN ports, the configuration of the T1/E1 ports, the line
status (active alarms or not), and statistics on the quality of the WAN connection can be viewed. The statistics
comprise those contained in
RFC 1406 – Definitions of Managed Objects for the DS1 and E1 Interface Types
.

The T1/E1 Link Activity Overview main window contains the following items:

dows displays the configuration settings for the T1/E1 port, the line status showing whether any alarms are

figuration…).
