14. WARRANTY OBLIGATIONS
PATON INTERNATIONAL LLC
guarantees the proper operation of the device provided that
the consumer complies with the handling, storage and transportation instructions.
ATTENTION!
In case of mechanical damage to the welder, free warranty service does not
apply!

The main warranty period starts from the date of sale of the PATON
™
inverter device
to the end customer.
During the warranty period, the distributor undertakes, free of charge to the owner of
the PATON
™
inverter device:
-
to make diagnostics and identify the cause of the malfunction;
-
to provide assemblies and elements necessary for the repair;
-
to carry out work to replace the failed elements and assemblies;
-
to test the repaired equipment.
The main warranty obligations do not apply to equipment:
-
in case of mechanical damage that affected the operation of the device
(deformation of the housing and parts due to a fall from a height or dropping
heavy objects on the device, missing buttons and connectors);
-
with traces of corrosion that caused the malfunction;
-
has failed due to exposure of its power and electronic components to abundant
moisture;
-
failure caused by the accumulation of conductive fluid inside (coal dust, metal
shavings, etc.);
-
If you attempt to repair its components and/or replace electronic components
yourself.
Depending on the operating conditions, to avoid failure of the device, it is recommended to
remove the metal cover and clean the electronic components with compressed air. Perform
the above activity once every six months.
Cleaning should be carried out carefully, keeping the compressor hose at a sufficient
distance to avoid damage to soldered electronic components and mechanical parts.
