2.4 Work at electrical facilities
•
Any work at the machine’s electrical equipment may only be carried out by trained
electricians.
•
The system must be switched off immediately in the event of faults in the electrical
power supply.
•
The system must be de-energised and secured from any unexpected reactivation prior
to any work on sections of the system supplied with electrical power.
•
The system’s electrical equipment must be reviewed on a regular basis. Defects such
as cable damage, loose connections, etc. must be reported and rectified straight away.
•
Any individuals who are not authorised to carry out work on the system’s electrical
supply must be denied access to the interior of the control box.
•
The machine’s protective conductor system may not be interrupted. Any protective
conductors that have been removed must be reinstalled before a machine is switched
back on.
•
In accordance with DIN EN 60204-1 the operator must ensure that a suitable
overcurrent protective device is installed in the supply line to a machine.
2.5 Work on hydraulic installations
The machine works using hydraulic pressure energy. Special safety measures must be
observed when dealing with hydraulic energy.
•
Any work at the machine’s hydraulic equipment may only be carried out by trained
experts.
•
Any system sections and pressure lines to be opened must be depressurised before
starting any repair work.
Liquids that escape under high pressure can penetrate
the skin and cause serious injuries.
See a doctor immediately in the event of injuries from
hydraulic fluids as there is a risk of infection!
