Standalone at the Central Site
The first scenario (
Figure G-1, Standalone at the Central Site
) is a standalone
31xx Series device with an Ethernet connection to an NMS, with remotes
connected via the FDL. In this scenario, all 31xx Series devices are on the same
subnet (135.18.1.0). The subnet mask for each device is FF.FF.FF.00. A static
route is set in the NMS host to subnet 135.18.1.0.
