In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until
light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time,
beating well.

Add milk, sifted A and mix dried fruits,
beating well after addition.

Remove the kneading blade and line the
greaseproof paper around the bread pan,
then pour in the mixed ingredients.

Set the bread pan into the main unit, and
plug the machine into the socket.

Select the menu and set the baking time : 1
hour and 20 minutes.

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until
light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time,
beating well.

Add the flour with the cherries and
grated marzipan, mix well with the milk
to a soft consistency.

Remove the kneading blade and line the
greaseproof paper around the bread pan,
then pour in the mixed ingredients.

Set the bread pan into the main unit, and
plug the machine into the socket.

Carefully sprinkle the toasted almonds
on top of the mixture.

Select the menu and enter 1 hour on the
timer.

After baking test with a skewer to see if
the cake is cooked. If the cake does
require extra time, select the menu again
and enter a further 3 – 5 minutes on the
timer. If it is still just slightly sticky, this
will cook through during the stand period.

Take the bread pan out of the machine
using oven gloves.
Leave to stand for 5 – 10 minutes
before removing from the bread pan and
allowing to cool.
