6.5.1. IPv4 Ping Execution
Press 4 on Ping Execution to see the IPv4 Ping Execution, as Figure 6-8 below. This
screen allows you to confirm the communication flowing to a terminal and other
devices connected, by executing the IPv4 Ping command on your switch.

Screen Description
Target IP Address
The IP address of the opponent-destination, which executes Ping, is dis

played. The factory default settings is 0.0.0.0.
Number of Requests
The number of Ping executions is displayed. The factory default settings is 10
times.
Timeout Value
Displays the necessary time until a time-out occurs. The factory default
settings is three (3) seconds.
Result
Displays the Ping result.
