10.1 Error messages – Reports
If a problem occurs during fax transmission or reception, one of the following messages will be printed on
the sending and journal reports (page 31).

The document is jammed. Remove the

because of a problem with the other party’s
fax machine. Check with the other party.
JUNK FAX PROH. REJECT

The junk fax prohibitor feature of this unit
rejected fax reception.
MEMORY FULL

The memory is full of received documents
due to a lack of recording paper or a recording
paper jam. Install paper (page 16) or clear the
jammed paper (page 85).

If you select the computer that will be used for
receiving a fax in feature #443 (page 71), and
feature #442 is set to

ALWAYS

(page 69),
check the connection between the computer
and the unit.
NO DOCUMENT / FAILED PICKUP

properly. Re-insert it and try again.

run out of recording paper. Try again.

The other party’s fax machine rings too many

machine. Check with the other party.
