System connection configuration
• The unit can be connected to a CCU, remote camera, or camera recorder via a serial connection or IP connection.
• Up to 19 CCUs, remote cameras or camera recorders can be controlled.
• With a serial connection, only one of either a CCU or remote camera can be connected.
It is not possible to use a CCU serial connection and a remote camera serial connection at the same time.
• A configuration with one serial connection and 18 IP connections is possible.
• The ROP setup software provided with this unit must be installed on a personal computer and configured in order to use IP connection with CCUs,
remote cameras, and camera recorders. For details on ROP Setup Software, refer to Operations and Settings.
Please make sure that the version of the ROP setup software is Ver. 3.0.0.0 or higher when making IP connection to a camera recorder.

Connection example:

1.
Connect the CCU connector on this unit to the ROP
connector on the CCU rear panel using a dedicated ROP
cable (sold separately).
2.
After having connected all the components, turn the CCU
main power on, and then turn the camera on.
<Note>
• If no camera is connected, the number of CCU functions that this unit
can control is limited.
• Turn off the CCU before disconnecting the ROP cable.
