Definitions

Form A

This is a Normally Open Connection (NO) contact found on a relay.

Form B

This is Normally Closed Connection (NC) contact found on a relay.

Form C

This is a Normally Open or Normally Closed Connection (NO / NC)
contact found on a relay.

Event

An alarm that takes place where a person activates a device learned
into the server or when a device stops communicating with the
server.

Location Device

A device that is assigned to an apartment or to a common location
and is mounted to the building. Such as Apartment 101 Bed Push
Cord or 1st Floor Women's Bathroom Pull Cord.

Notifier

A method of being informed about system events such as a pager,
E-Mail, or voice radio.

Paging Transmitter

The device used to send messages to an individual's pager or group
of individual pagers.

Wireless Receiver

This device is used to receive wireless signals from a Wireless,
Location Device, or Personal Device.

Wireless Repeater

This device is used to repeat a wireless signal from a Location
Device or Personal Device to another Wireless Repeater or to the
Wireless Receiver.
