Locations
Overview
Locations are Rooms or Apartments used to house Residents or Common Rooms which just
house Devices. The only difference between an Apartment/Resident Room and a Common
Room is that a Common Room has a Living Capacity of Zero (0) and a Resident Room has a
Living Capacity greater or equal to One (1).
Location Fields
Location
This is the name of the location.
Building
This is the building a location is attached to.
Living Capacity
This is the number of Residents that can live in the location at the
same time.
Escalation Profile
This is the notifier profile the location will use. The notifier profile is
also used by the Residents living in the Location.
Adding a Location

Login as
Administrator

Click on the
Configuration
Menu.

Click on the
Locations
Tab.

Click on the
Add Location
Button.
17.
Type in the Location Name.

Select the Building the Location is attached to.
19.
Type in the Living Capacity of the Location.
a.
A Living Capacity of 0 means that it is a common area, and no one lives there.
b.
A Living Capacity of 2 means that only 2 Residents can be living in the location at
the same time.

Select the Escalation Profile.

Click on the
Save
Button
Updating a Location
1.
Login as
Administrator
.
2.
Click on the
Configuration
Menu.
3.
Click on the
Locations
Tab.
4.
Click on the Locations List.
5.
Type in or select the changes that need to be made.
6.
Click on the
Save
Button.
Removing a Location

Login as
Administrator
.
8.
Click on the
Configuration
Menu.
9.
Click on the
Locations
Tab.
10.
Click on
Add Location
Button.
11.
Check Box on the far left for Location that will be Removed.
12.
Click on the
Delete Location
Button.
