Notes
: A location cannot be removed if there are devices or residents assigned to the location.
Wireless Repeaters
Overview
Wireless Repeaters are used to increase the distance between Location Devices or Resident
Devices and the Wireless Receiver. Wireless Repeaters need to be registered with the
PalatiumCare Server, just like any Location or Resident devices, so the system knows to monitor
the Wireless Repeater for loss of communication.
Registering Repeater
1.
Ensure Repeater Battery plug is plugged in, and power light is on.
2.
Login as
Tech Support
.
3.
Click on the
Wizard
Tab.
4.
Click on the
Update Repeaters
Button.
5.
Click on the
Add New Device
Button.
6.
Click on the
Ready
Button.
7.
Press the Reset Button on the Wireless Repeater.
8.
Verify the
Serial #
on the screen matches the one on the Wireless Repeater.
9.
Click on the
Ok, Register It
Button.
10.
Type in where Repeater is being placed in the Location frame.
11.
Click on the
Save Locations Name
Button.
Update Repeater Location
1.
Login as
Tech Support
.
2.
Click on the
Wizard
Tab.
3.
Click on the
Update Repeaters
Button.
4.
Click the Wireless Repeater Location.
5.
Type in the new location.
6.
Click on the
Save Locations Name
Button.
Remove Repeater
1.
Login as
Tech Support
.
2.
Click on the
Wizard
Tab.
3.
Click on the
Update Repeaters
Button.
4.
Check box on the far left for the Wireless Repeater that will be removed.
5.
Click on the
Remove Device
Button.
