4.6.1.3 ERASE ALL RAM AND RESET CPU
ERASE ALL RAM AND RESET CPU is used to erase edited programs 1-99 and edited waveforms 2-16.
This will reset everything in the UPC including calibration values. Only do this if the UPC is acting
abnormally or to restore all default settings.
NOTE:
This must also be performed if the UPC firmware (EPROMS) has been changed.
From any METER display (V/I, AMPS or POWER), press the
fn
key to enter SETUP MODE.
From the SETUP display, press
1
to enter PROGRAM SETUP.
From the PROGRAM SETUP display, press
3
to enter ERASE ALL RAM AND RESET CPU.
NOTE:
Pressing
9
instead of
EXECUTE
will cause the UPC to reset without clearing RAM. This is the
same as a power-own/power-up sequence.
ERASE ALL RAM AND RESET CPU:
WARNING-THIS WILL ERASE ALL PROGRAMS AND
EDITED WAVEFORMS. PRESS EXECUTE TO
ERASE RAM AND RESET CPU.
Press
EXECUTE
to ERASE ALL RAM AND RESET CPU.
NOTE:
All Programs, Waveforms, and Calibration data will be erased when RAM is cleared.
If the programming has been corrupted and will not start properly, an alternative to the above method is
to hold down the
CLEAR
key while applying INPUT POWER. This will also clear ALL RAM and RESET
the CPU.
4.6.2 WAVEFORM SETUP
WAVEFORM SETUP is used to copy and edit waveforms. The output relay ENABLE must be off before
you can change a waveform.
From any METER display (V/I, AMPS or POWER), press the
fn
key to enter SETUP MODE.
From the SETUP display, press
2
to enter WAVEFORM SETUP.

2 COPY WAVEFORM. 6
