All other sections of pipe and elbows listed by the vent manufacturer can be used. Follow the vent pipe
manufacturers installation instructions. Use all shields, firestops and vent pipe supports as required by
the vent manufacturer.
NOTE: Mixing venting components from different manufacturers is not permitted.
NOTE: The chase must be properly sealed at the ceiling level or between floors in a multilevel
installation. Use a firestop, vent pipe shield or attic insulation shield when penetrating interior
walls, floor or ceiling.
